Sioux Chief Mini-Rester Water Hammer Arrestor (660-TX2B) is designed to reduce or eliminate water hammer effect produced by fast closing valves. It incorporates an air-tight air chamber with a piston with (2) o-rings, which effectively separates a pressurized cushion of air from the water system and prevents the air charge from being lost. Certified by ASSE to the ANSI/ASSE 1010-2004 Standard.
