About This Product
This PVC backwater valve helps prevent sewage backup in drainage systems by blocking backflow with a flapper that closes when sewage begins to accumulate. Its stepped construction helps promote water flow, while the flapper and cover include an elastomeric gasket for a watertight seal. A magnetic strip allows underground detection, and the threaded access cover makes inspection and maintenance easier.
