Description

This scale prevention system uses Filtersorb SP media to help remove existing scale from pipes and heat exchanger surfaces while helping protect against future scale formation. The media changes the chemical structure of scale-forming minerals and works in an up flow system with an in/out head.

This package includes Filtersorb SP filter media, a C Series in/out head, C Series bypass, 1-inch NPT PVC plumbing adapters, a 10-inch Big Blue filter housing with 1-inch connections, mounting bracket and hardware, and a GAC pre-filter. Filtersorb SP also works in front of RO membranes to help reduce calcium-carbonate clogging and can improve membrane efficiency when calcium carbonate blockage is present.
