Description

The Ultra D Submicron Depth Filter is a 10 inch standard replacement cartridge sized 10 x 2.5 inches. It is made from coated micro-glass fibers and is described as removing over 99.99% of viruses and bacteria while also reducing heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, and mercury.

This filter also uses activated carbon to reduce chlorine, bromine, and iodine for improved taste and odor. Its high porosity design is described as helping minimize pressure drop and prevent early clogging.
